Annoying trends will fade away into obscurity. Eventually there's a thread online right now where people are talking about some things that quietly went away without anyone really noticing.

So they were really popular at one time and without any big hoopla they just kind of went away like Facebook poke wars.

What was that? I never got into that. I think poke each other? Yeah, it wasn't a way to say hi or like almost say that you were interested and maybe we should become friends.

Even if you were friends you could poke it was stupid. I hate to be a poet. Quick poke of me because now I got to reciprocate the poke and who, how does it end?

It was like it was to get your attention. Was it for you to contact the line? I think because of the way that Facebook started. Okay.

So Facebook started as in a weird way just like a hook up app of like who's hot that goes to your school, right? And so it was a way to like, hey, tap somebody on the shoulder.

And then I believe a lot of folks just went unanswered.

Well, if I got poked, I didn't pay any attention to no. I'm assuming like the pretty people got poked a lot.

What are you trying to say? Well, I'm just saying like real pretty people. He doesn't think you're a very pretty. Wow.

I don't know if any of us are bringing the hand thunder as guys. I'm not pretty and I got poked. Yeah, I get like we all got everyone got poked.

I was just the way to say hi. It was way to say hi. It was really. But I think it started as like a hey.

Well, like poke like sexual. Hey, I mean, how sexual can you get on Facebook?

I don't know. I mean, I think it was like, hey, do you want to be a friend? My friend or a little tap on the ass.

Yeah.

Hey, we talked about this one before. This is another one of those annoying trends that faded away water beds.

Although there's still a, you know, when we talk about it, we're still shocked to find you still can buy them.

There was a time when I thought water beds were the height of luxury. I think all of us did.

I think most people did. If you had a water bed, you were rich. That was how I grew up.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was like, there's nothing more comfortable than water bed. I had a water bed when I was a kid.
