It's Thursday, February 8, 2024. I'm Albert Boler and this is the briefing, a daily

0:10.2

analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview.

0:13.8

Well, sometimes we confront an issue that has no clear easy answer.

0:18.4

Sometimes that same kind of quandary is faced by a panel of judges or by a court in the United States. That's not

0:24.7

unprecedented. Frankly these days it's not all that uncommon. But today we need to

1:25.0

1:28.0

President of the United States.

1:30.0

There was one Republican appointee, two Democratic appointees on the three-judge panel.

1:34.3

Just a little footnote here. If you wonder why these appellate courts are called circuits,

1:38.4

it's because, just like the circuit-writing preachers during the time of the 17th and 18th century in the United States.
