Hey there, friends. It's me again right here in our studio in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We're

studying Psalm 34. And I think I mentioned last time that we were going to go over today my

favorite verse in the Psalm. So let's look at that, Psalm 34 and verse number eight, where the Bible says,

O taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Don't you love that

verse? Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed. That word blessed in the Bible means a multiplicity of

blessings, including happiness. Happy is the man that trusteth, puts his weight upon, leans on him alone.

O taste and see. So think about that. What a metaphor. Oh, taste. Have you ever been reluctant

to taste something because it didn't look like something you would like to eat? It maybe didn't have

an inviting appearance. And then when you tasted it, it was like, wow, where has that

been my whole life? You had to taste it first. I grew up in a home where my mother was always like,

you have to try. Did you have a mom like that? You don't have to eat at all, but you have to

try it. If it's on your plate,

you have to at least try it. And I love the imagery because the psalmist is saying,

David is saying, you know, I know the Lord is good. I've seen it. I've experienced this.

This is part of my testimony. And if you want it to be true for you,

you're going to have to have a measure of faith. You're going to have to taste. You're going to have to
