Okay, friends, here we are back in the studio and ready to finish a great and encouraging

Psalm, Psalm 34. And we've spent, I think, three episodes already just in this one Psalm, and it's been time

well spent. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. And we're talking about David giving some

really, really great praise and some really great instruction at a time in his life where things were really just in upheaval.

Remember, he had been falsely accused by Saul.

Saul was hunting him down like some kind of an animal.

David ran all the way to the Philistine city of Gath or Gat. And there, Abimelech was going to take him on

his staff, but there was some suspicion among the other leaders. And David was in a precarious

position. He had to fake like he was a madman and got out with the hair on his chinny,

chin, and made it back to God's country

and then hid out in a cave. His family met him there and a bunch of misfits, people that are

discontented and distressed and discouraged and in debt met him there. And it just seems as if this would have been a time when David would have complained.
