Now, here's today's episode.

We're talking about the announcement that was made to Mary.

What a special day that must have been when the angel came and appeared to Mary. And Mary was just overwhelmed by the information

and the angel several times said,

Mary, God's grace is upon you. God's grace is upon you.

Don't get worked up.

Don't worry about how this is all going to take place.

With God, nothing shall be impossible.

And Mary's response is just stunning, in a good way.

So look at Luke chapter 1, and I think we're in verse, well, look at verse 37,

which is the final thing the angel says and he says for with god

nothing shall be impossible and i love that for a couple reasons first of all because god has just

told mary you're going to give birth to a child, never having known a man. So this is the virgin

birth of Jesus, a tenet of our doctrine. And so I certainly love the statement for that reason.

But I love the statement because of who is uttering it? For with God, nothing shall be impossible.

Who is saying that? Gabriel is saying that.

Gabriel lives with God. Gabriel just came from God. Gabriel knows things about the power and the

scope and the omniscience and the omnipotence of God that human beings don't know.
