Now, let's join Kurt for today's episode. Hey, guys, it's me again. Hope you enjoyed meeting TJ,

sometime in the near future and just get him used to doing a podcast and studying and presenting the

Word of God. We love interns at Faith Baptist and we always try to have somebody that's studying for the

ministry working alongside of our pastoral staff. We do it in the summer. We're going to do it this next

semester during the school year. And you might be out there as a young college student or maybe just

recently graduated and you're looking for an internship

opportunity. Hey, we'd love to have you here at Faith Baptist Church and just get you acquainted

with all the various parts of ministry and give you some experience and opportunity. So just

Hey, we're in Genesis 21 today. And I want to cover the first half of this chapter. So we're

going to move a little bit more quickly here at the beginning where the Bible says the Lord

visited Sarah as he had said. And I just love that because God had given his

promise a promise that just seemed far-fetched, humanly speaking. I mean, how is a 100-year-old man

and a 90-year-old woman going to have a child. Well, here's the game changer, because God said.

So Sarah, the Lord visited Sarah as he had said. So God keeps his word. What God promises, God performs.

And it says, the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bear Abraham

a son in his old age at the set time of which God had spoken to him. So God did that thing
