So we're slowing down a little bit over the next couple of days just because this armor of the Lord passage is so rich and it's so important that we understand, you know, what it means metaphorically and how important it is for us to stand.

Remember, that's the kind of the imperative throughout the passage.

Stand, stand, withstand.

There's hope for victory, not just positionally.

We have that in Christ, but practically that we can live in victory

in this present world, even in view of the fact that we have some real enemies, like the world,

like the flesh, like the devil, like these principalities and powers about which we've been

speaking. Here we are in chapter number six, putting on the whole

armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles, the strategies, the deceptions,

the tricks of the devil. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. Verse number 13, take unto you the whole

armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, having done all to stand,
