Summary

This lively Thursday afternoon episode comes in hour 14 of the first round of The Open and was fueled by the Shotgun Start and Westy Island blends at Bixby Coffee. Andy and Brendan dive right into the first day from Royal St. George’s, including all the drama surrounding Bryson’s spat of the week, this time with his own equipment company. 0:49.0	I'm on third cup of coffee, some bigger coffees than other coffees. One very large one this morning.
0:58.0	I have to tell you, I made a big tactical error this morning, a huge one.
1:04.0	I get up at three. I got up at three. I'm groggy. I get down three Chicago time. I get downstairs, turn to the TV on.
1:15.0	Plop down on the couch. And then I'm just laying watching golf on the couch.
1:22.0	Don't go get the coffee. Don't go make it. And sure enough that it's four.
1:30.0	Just fell right asleep. And then I go, I wake back up. I'm really groggy then. I go, I make the coffee and then like, boom, I'm wide awake, you know?
1:42.0	But the tactical error of thinking I could just sit and watch some golf was just an utter mistake.
1:49.0	Is that rookie move? Really?
1:52.0	That happens. That happens. We ran out. I've got through the entire pot by like two, one, two, eastern.
2:00.0	I went to like do that poor. I was being, you know, this cute little influencer boy doing a boomerang for the Instagram of pouring the last cup of coffee.
2:09.0	And I was like, a little, little too sips. So I got through our entire pot of shotgun start blend. It was kind of sad. I needed more. I needed a full cup. But we were out. Come, I don't know, one, two o'clock.
2:21.0	So I'm at a dozed off here in the end is sort of recard Carlberg, Dick Carlberg kind of limped us across the finish line a day one. I took like a ten minutes.
2:30.0	Jimmy Walker, you're a guy. I saw they had like Azenger on peak. They had Azenger on peacock.
2:37.0	They're trying to get them to talk about Carlberg. He's like, wow, what a story. Huh? How about that? Like what?
2:42.0	Like he doesn't, he doesn't even acknowledge the European tour's existence. They got him now on peacock talking about recard Carlberg. Azenger's got nothing.
