and I wanted to talk to you a bit about First Kings Chapter 11,

verses 23, actually verses 26 through 43.

And as you recall, I'm holding my phone here with my outstretched arms, so if I get tired,

But as you know, we've been talking about Solomon and the ugly part of his reign, the

last few years of his reign.

And while he's still building and still fortifying and still doing some external things that have the appearance of success, God has judged him.

And God has told Solomon, Solomon, I am going to divide your kingdom. You have had a divided heart toward me. I will divide your kingdom. I will reserve a vestige

of your kingdom, a southern kingdom. It would be known as Judah from then on. That will be ruled by

your offspring, specifically the offspring of David. But the northern kingdom, the larger swath, the 10 northern tribes,
