Russia's state-controlled gas company, Gazprom, shut off the supply of natural gas to Poland

and Bulgaria yesterday.

Russia is now warning that they could do the same to other countries if they refuse

to pay for gas in rubles, which kind of sounds like it would simply be too many digits

for currency computers to compute at this point.

Both Polish and Bulgarian officials are now accusing Putin of using energy as blackmail.

He insists that he is not blackmailing Poland and Bulgaria, but merely responding to unprecedented

unfriendly action from the West when they froze Russia's assets.

Sorry, Vlad, this seems like completely precedented unfriendly action.

Very cosy has done way worse.

And yesterday, Microsoft released a report that Russia has carried out hundreds of cyber

operations and destructive attacks against Ukraine throughout its invasion.

At times, these cyber operations have been directly timed with their land, air, and sea

attacks, and 40% were directed towards critical infrastructure that could have negative impacts

on the government, military, economy, and people.

And in predictable, Kremlin fashion, they have also gone the propaganda route by compromising

communication systems to stop Ukrainians from accessing reliable information and conducting
