We have a lot of news to get to first, but that is going to be adorable a little bit later.

The wildfires, though, that are tearing through the southeast, dozens of new fires breaking out overnight.

Dozens of homes destroyed as well. Evacuations ordered and a state of emergency declared

ginger standing by tracking the critical alerts fueled by this extreme drought, the worst for Florida

in 25 years. Matt River starts us off in Georgia. Good morning, Matt.

Good morning, George. A very busy morning here at the Capand Post in Brantley County, Georgia's officials do whatever they can to

try and get on top of these raging fires. This morning, fires exploding in the southeast as a state

of emergency is declared in Georgia. 34 new fires reported overnight as residents raced to escape, some forced to turn around facing a wall of fire.

You can say it's a miracle that we have not had any life's laws.

This video showing a bus full of children fleeing as the fire bore down on their school. Their teacher calling

them quote amazingly brave. Thousands forced to evacuate because of the Highway 82 fire after

the massive wildfire exploded in size, consuming more than 50 homes and nearly 5,000 acres.

We started gathering stuff in one location,

taking stuff off the wall, pictures and things

would take place.

The fast moving fire started earlier this week,

growing exponentially in just hours.
