Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories. Number one, Donald

Trump said Arizona's abortion ruling went too far.

On Tuesday, Arizona's Supreme Court revived a near total abortion ban.

The ruling came just a day after Trump had said that abortion laws should be decided by individual states. But yesterday, Trump said that Arizona's

ban and a similar ban in Florida would be changed, and that, quote, everyone wants that to happen.

He also said that he wouldn't sign a national abortion ban.

This is shaping up to be one of the trickiest issues

for Republicans ahead of November's election.

Trump has faced criticism from some conservatives for his state's rights approach,

and abortion bans have been politically damaging for Republicans

since the fall of Roe v. Wade in 2022.

Number two, inflation ticked up again last month.

Yesterday, new government figures showed that prices rose 3.5% from March

2023 to March 2024. That's up slightly from February. And the uptick is confusing economists. The Federal Reserve has hiked interest rates

over the past couple of years in a bid to tackle rising prices. But that strategy doesn't seem
