Number one, your alternator is designed to get wet.

You get splashed from the rain when you're going down the road.

And number two, those radiators have sensors on them.

And if that cooling gets too low, it won't allow the car to stop, to stop the engine from blowing.

So I would tell Jeffrey, he should definitely switch the

radiator out and put cooling in it and try to start it before he goes replacing an alternator.

How much is an alternator cost to replace? God only knows nowadays because the price of everything

is so high, but I would imagine it would be a couple hundred dollars.

So you might be able to save some money, Jeffrey, if you have them at least test out that alternator before you replace that, try, you know, maybe hold off on replacing that.

Try the radiator first.
