Happy Friday. Happy Friday. We had Senate Majority Leader John Thune on flyout day yesterday.

We did. We did. our Capitol Hill townhouse,

talking a ton about, you know, not only, yeah, I mean, truly, we hit in a short amount of time,

you know, kind of hit everything from his reaction to the murder of Charlie Kirk, got into government funding, got into kind of rules changes in the Senate as well as tariffs.

But the big thing that really, I think, you know, my biggest takeaway here, and we lead the newsletter this morning with it, is the fact that he believes Democrats have made the decision to force a government shutdown,

a pretty stunning analysis, given that we are 20 days away from that spending deadline.
