It's throwback Thursday again, and this week we're throwing it back to May of 2024

when Jacobi Shaddix of Papa Roach sat in to discuss the writing and recording of Last Resort.

The song was released in March of 2000,

but it hit its hot 100 peak of 57 on December 2nd of that same year. So I wanted to give you all some context of what was going on around that time before we jump into the episode.

The number one song in the U.S. at that moment was creeds with arms wide open.

But some other popular songs at that moment were most girls by Pink,

kryptonite by Three Doors Down, independent women from Destiny's Child,

she bangs from Ricky Martin, music from Madonna, faded from soulision, Vertical Horizons, You're a God,
