Hello, hello everybody. Welcome back to a old episode of Fluently Forward. I wanted to resurface our

2022, which is crazy. It's three years old. That episode that we did all about stranger things,

because a lot of people have been sending in Shannon, you should do an episode on Stranger Things,

you know, you should do one on Friends, you should do one on Game

of Thrones. We've done all of these episodes before. And I don't know if people have trouble

searching for them, which by the way, on Spotify, there's a cool new feature. It's not that new.

But if you go over to a podcast shows page on Spotify and then you push the page down. At the very top, a search bar

will appear, and you can search specifically within that podcast show for certain episodes,

which is always kind of fun. And on Spotify, I think that you can also see what the Patreon

once look like. So anyway, this episode is from 2022, so I'm resurfacing it for anyone who

can't find it. And I am excited to

resurface it because even though I cringe out at old episodes of mine, Stranger Things,

when we did this episode, yes, we covered the blind items on the cast. Yes, we covered how the show

was created. But it warms my tender little heart. This show was created and inspired by conspiracy theories.

So the Duffer brothers had heard about Project Montauk and Project M.K. Ultra and all of these

fun ideas that inspired Stranger Things. So when you're watching the show and you see 11 or 8 or 1 or any of these kids and they're

able to do telekinesis and remote viewing and 11 needs to get into a cold, dark bathtub so she can

hijack other people's minds and see what's going on. Is that really just fantasy or is it something that our

government over the years has legitimately put a lot of money behind to see if we can do? So this

episode covers all of that. So you know me, anytime you can blend conspiracy with pop culture,

I just get a little bit of excited. Now, there is a few things in here that are going to be out of date.
