This is a very special program for the Gospel Truth broadcast. I'm going to be playing one of the new programs that we've made entitled Through the Bible with Andrew Womack. And I'm teaching verse by verse through every verse in the Bible. I think this is awesome.

And we wanted to share it with you. So here's a little sample of through the Bible.

In verse 15, it says, and the Lord God took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Now, there's two things here I want to point out.

First of all, he gave a job to Adam in his sinless state.

Some people think work is somehow or another a result of the fall.

And there is no doubt that the toil and the labor and the sweat of our brow

was a part of the curse that was placed upon mankind in Genesis chapter 3 after they had

partaken of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And so it's certainly been amplified and

stuff, but he gave a job to Adam in a sinless state, to dress it and to keep it.

You know, and I don't know exactly what all this meant, but I know that in my area, I have 26 acres

and I've got a lot of trees on it. And did you know that you constantly have to be cutting off

all of the dead branches and taking those things away. And there is a

lot of maintenance on a garden. And so Adam had a job, even in his sinless state. Work is something

that God created. Work is not a dirty word. It is a four-letter word, but it's not a dirty word, amen.

Work is something that's good.

And also it says right here that he took the man and put him into the garden.

It doesn't say that he took Eve.

And some people think, well, they just suppose that Eve was there.
