Romans chapter 8.

If you missed this last weekend's study,

we were doing kind of that deep dive into Calvinism versus Arbinianism.

And it's a controversial topic,

but it's right where Paul is diving in, right here in, you know,

our middle of chapter 8, when he talks about, you know, whom he did predestinate, he called,

you know, who he called, he justified, whom he justified, he glorified. And it was all because of the

foreknowledge of God. So did God choose us or did we choose him? And we looked at that

this past weekend. And I'm just going to say it again. And by the way, if you just hear this

snippet right here, this is going to be, you're going to think, oh, what a dumb, lame brain person

that you haven't landed on Calvinism or Armenianism. Well, I've wrestled through it all. I've

read the scriptures.

We went over all the arguments really of last week. And I'm what I'd like to say, not Calvinist,

not Armenianists, but Bibleist. I see the Bible with teaching us that there's a little tension

between that topic of, did we choose God or did God choose him? And to me, the answer is yes.

At least I hope so. If you're unsure which one, let's make sure, be saved tonight,

except Christ, and then we'll know you were chosen before the foundations of the world.

But if you say, that's dumb, then you're probably not chosen, sadly. So it really is, I think,

from a perspective, from our perspective, we make a choice

and our limited perspective at that. But from God's perspective, through his foreknowledge,

he knew what you would do long before you would ever have been born. And that's why there's

tension. It's God existing outside of time and space. And I don't have a problem with that. God's
