Chapter 26. Time Magazine did a thing today that I saw in the news, how they're struggling with

with the coronation of King Charles of England.

And one of the biggest troubles they're having

is finding someone who's willing to perform at his coronation.

So far, they've been turned down by Adele, Ed Sheeran,

Harry Stiles, the Spice Girls.

And when you're being turned down by the Spice Girls,

who, that's pretty tough, tough deal.

But, you know, it's an interesting thing to watch the, you know,

monarchy there in England and what have you.

And it's one of the few big monarchies left from history.

But one of the things we need to remember is that Jesus is ultimately the king of kings and the Lord of Lords.

And one of the things we remember about the Gospel of Matthew is he does, in fact, present

Jesus as king.

That's one of the perspectives the Gospel of Matthew gives us.

And it's actually kind of a fun thing to look at the various ways the New Testament Gospels

present Jesus.

You know, the Gospel of Matthew presents Jesus as the lion of the tribe of Judah.

The Gospel of Matthew presents him linked to Abraham all the way even through, and particularly

the line of David. Matthew takes great care to show that. You know, in Mark we see Jesus, you know, not as much as a,

as presented as a Jew, like in Matthew presents Jesus very Jewish, but Mark speaks specifically
