We're continuing our study in Matthew, so why don't you turn with me to Matthew chapter 19?

We have some loose ends to pick up as we've been kind of hit and miss because of the Christmas

holidays and we missed last Wednesday. But it was great having the whole team and volunteers.

Everybody would be able to take a little bit of time off because the month of December was crazy around here.

And so it's, but it is good to be back in our stride.

But there's some stuff that we need to pick up.

And so we'll do that tonight.

Hopefully we'll get through chapter 19,

maybe even into 20, we'll see how it goes.

But book of Matthew, a few things to kind of keep in mind is the book of Matthew

is written for the Jewish people. It's almost like if you could say it's the gospel for the Jews.

And we'll show you as we get into the other gospels. We're going to do even more and more of a

comparative study between the, you know, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. And we'll do that. But

just for now, understand that, you know, the book Mark, Luke, and John, and we'll do that. But just for now, understand that,

you know, the book of Matthew should be sort of things that in some ways we Gentiles might miss.

But if you're looking deeply, you can kind of be shocked at some of the things that might be

tucked in here. One of the things I sort of mentioned that I might be able to cover a little

more in depth, but I really didn't do that. And so I was thinking, are you guys up for a little

brainiac stuff tonight? I mean, I'm not really good at Brainiac stuff, but I want to do something a little

bit because I did sort of mention it, and I thought maybe we'd give it a whirl on you guys.

But kind of reviewing, remember, we just left off with, you know, in chapter, you know, 18, 17, 18,

we were talking about kind of that humility, child life, like faith, and Jesus came, you know,
