As we continue our journey through the Bible, we come to an interesting new section of Jesus'

teaching techniques. He's going to start something that's a little different here in

March 10, which is kind of fun. We'll take a look at that. A young boy and his father,

his father, a surgeon at a local hospital, tragically got into a car accident,

and the father was killed instantly. The little boy was rushed to the local hospital,

and there in the operating room, the surgeon said, I can't operate on this boy. He's my son.

The boy's father, a surgeon, was at the hospital was killed.

So you say, well, how's that possible?

That's impossible.

It works when you realize that the surgeon was his mother.

And now it makes sense that we see here a paradox.

Anyway, if you don't understand it yet, never mind. But Jesus is going to use

the technique of paradox. And this idea of paradox is a seemingly absurd or even self-contradictory

statement, you know, that his father was killed, but the surgeon

said, you know, said he couldn't operate on the, but we realize it was the, it was the mother.

So that's, that's the absurd contradiction, it seemed, but when you investigate further or

explain it out, it may prove to be well-founded and or true. And that's kind of the technique Jesus is
