Summary

In Luke 3, we find John the Baptist in the wilderness of Jordan, baptizing people and preaching a message of repentance to those who flocked to see him. As we listen to what John tells these people, we see how he is paving the way for Jesus, who will emerge to begin His ministry of salvation when He comes to John to be baptized.

King Louis the 11th, King of France in the 15th century,

He was a devout believer in astrology of all things.

He was impressed when it was rightly predicted that a lady of the court would die in eight days.

And so fearing accurate prophecy, how it might pose a danger to his rule, he decided to have the guy that predicted the woman dying, ordered that he'd be thrown from a window on his given signal to kill him to make sure he wasn't making predictions about his own death and stuff like that.

The astrologer was brought up and looked around the kings where he was there in that upper chamber where the window is open.

And the astrologer looked around and when he arrived, he perceived there was something tense

So King Louis questioned him, you claim to understand astrology and to know the fate of others.
