It's so cool to be able to be in the scriptures with you all this evening.

Why don't you go to Luke 2?

Everybody has their favorite gospel, I think.

Do you have a favorite gospel?

All of them, all of the above?

Yeah, that's good.

I hear a lot of people say they love John,

and I understand that that john is an amazing

book and but i have noticed if people are nailed down to a particular favorite um one of those uh if

if it's luke usually it's more of the engineering kind of mind or the the person who's really into

the facts and historical evidence and and defending of the faith and

those kinds of things. That's where the gospel of Luke really is perhaps the strongest of all

the gospels in the sense. That might just be why Luke wrote the book itself. It's a scholarly

analytical approach to the writing of the gospel.

And we talked about that a little bit on the introduction to the gospel of Luke.

Speculation, one thing we talked about is that Luke could have been a legal document

that Paul was going to use in his defense in Rome for the gospel.

So pretty cool that Luke is so exacting in detail.

And you'll see that even here in the story of the birth of Jesus.

We're going to see details and things that we didn't see in the other gospels,

which is pretty cool.
