Acts 20. Great chapter we have in front of us here. Especially if you're one who's in the ministry.

How many of you are in the ministry? Raise your hand. I'm waiting. Hello. Hello. Okay, there we

oh. Took us a while. If you were here on Sunday and you're a Christian and you believe in Jesus, you're all in the

ministry.

Congratulations, I might add.

Boy, that was a little troubling.

I'm thinking about preaching Sunday all over again right here.

But no, we're all here to understand that we're in the

ministry. But it's true that Paul was a minister's minister. He's going to minister to the elders

at the church at Ephesus here in Acts chapter 20. And it's going to be profound and powerful

and love this. And let's just pick it up. Acts chapter 20.

We see kind of a bit of a farewell. This is Paul's missionaries journeys we've been studying.

And this is the third one. And this is largely a farewell journey. In fact, I want to show you how this is broken up a little bit here in Acts chapter 20.

We start off with verses 1 through 5 is really a farewell journey.

And you're going to sense that in chapter 20 where he's kind of signing off, saying goodbye to all these people he's poured into.

He's poured time, energy, effort

into them. And there's kind of this sad farewell journey. So that's verses 1 through 5.

Let's take a look in verse 1. And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples

and embraced them and departed for to go into Macedonia.

Now, verse one, many scholars argue this was an unfortunate chapter break. They should have put the

chapter break between verse one and two, so that chapter 19 would end with verse one of chapter 20.
