Acts chapter 15 as we continue verse by verse through the Bible.

We have the early church now, as we saw on Sunday and Saturday of this last weekend.

The church is dealing with a sort of a dispute of a theological question.

And it's a big one.

It centers around, you know, what constitutes salvation? And that's a big one. It centers around, you know, what constitutes salvation.

And that's a big one.

That's a, those are important ones, you know,

because the church tends to argue about things

that are non-essentials.

And we get all angry and uptight about stuff

and they really shouldn't.

And YouTube and social media hasn't helped.

You know, people are yelling and screaming about things, you know, that really they shouldn't be

yelling and screaming about. Non-essential doctrines. Now, just because we call them non-essential,

doesn't mean they're not important. But when it comes to essential doctrines, it sort of defines

whether you're inside of the true Christian faith or outside of the true Christian faith.

And that's the kind of discussion that's going to come up here in Acts chapter 15.

You know, the Jewish believers are struggling with this idea of these Gentiles coming to Christ and believing. And now, you know, they're being called saved and part of the Christian church.

And the Gentiles are happiest clams.

And the Jews are going, but wait a minute.

They got to be circumcised, right?
