Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. This is the second day of our nine days of prayer leading up to the feast of Pentecost in imitation of that time in which the apostles gathered around Mary

So as we pause you can ask the Holy Spirit for greater presence and power in your life and for all of his seven gifts.

These should not determine our choices and behavior. Therefore, we need the virtue of prudence, which is the art of making good decisions.

In this meditation, we'll give you a three-step process to avoid being ruled by misguided emotions and feelings.

First step, think. emotions and first step think what is reality and what is the greatest good that I want

second make a choice that is make an act of the will, choose the good you want and the means to achieve it, even

if it goes against your feelings and disordered desires.

And then finally, take action.

Put into action what you've chosen, even if you feel the opposite.

You might have to fake it till you make it, but if you follow through to the end, you'll achieve the happiness you long
