Welcome to our Rosary

let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for.

In Luke chapter 6, Jesus said to his disciples,

do not judge and you will not be judged yourselves.

Do not condemn and you will not be condemned yourselves.

Jesus says do not judge and do not condemn. But what does he really mean? It fits into the virtue of prudence.

Remember, prudence is the art of making good decisions. And recall, there were three steps to approve life.

First, to deliberate, to gather all the information

and then separate the relevant from the irrelevant.

Then, make a judgment.

Make a decision on what is the right thing to do.

And finally, take action. The important point is this. God designed our intellect to make judgments, to make decisions. We can and must judge propositions.

This is accurate. This is inaccurate.

We can and must judge behaviors.

This is right and this is wrong.

However, we cannot judge persons. This is a good person. This is an

evil person. That's God's job, not ours. But we can judge their behaviors.

That behavior is good, this behavior is bad,

but we cannot condemn other people as evil.
