Is science the only way to know if something is true?

A lot of people seem to think so, let's discuss it on this week's episode.

This week we're going to talk about, I think, as a foundation of a lot of atheist skepticism that I'm seeing online.

Certainly, you probably see it too, and that's where you'll get people who will say,

look, you get to a place in your thinking as Christians, where if you can't explain the natural world around you,

like, you know, we're in a universe that has a beginning, therefore God created it.

Oh, we're in a universe that looks to be fine-tuned, therefore God.

You people are always jumping to God to explain things that eventually science has a good track history,

you know, a road record of solving for themselves.

I mean, just wait long enough, scientists will eventually provide you with a definitive answer.

You know, I used to think that Thunder and Lightning was the cause of the gods,

but eventually we figured it out scientifically.

So what I see within the atheistic community is that a lot of skepticism is grounded in the idea

that science provides us with better explanations than does theism.
