Hey, hey, hey, hey. Welcome back. It's been a while since we had you on, I think. It might have been last year's next. Was it last year's Next Fest? Or I don't remember. I don't know it was the Next Fest, but it's been a while. Yeah. Well, we are here to talk about the games of Steam Next Fest, 2025, specifically the strategy and tactics

games, but also a few non-strategy and tactics games. That seemed cool. And yeah, I saw the one

that you both had pretty close to the top of the list was a dice gambit

Dominic do you want to tell us a little bit about what that is okay so it's um imagine if

super giant made excom it's kind of like Haiti style ofstyle, Juicent style and weird progressive story delivery mechanisms,

but it is about a squad of Magic Inquisitor Knights

fighting extra-dimensional monsters in a really funky, hybrid historical slash modern Italy setting.

Yeah, I mean, Super Giant and X-com is automatically interesting to me.

And Mike, you played this one too, right?

Yeah, and the world is full of,

they have some bespoke characters,

and your squad is actually your family,

but they're all little gremlin people.

Like the art style has a lot of life to it,

a lot of verve. So it's not just that the systems itself underpinning the game are good,

it's that the characters are interesting and fun to engage with as well.

And they're very weird, like they have little faces whenever they level up or anything or

get buffed. It's just a fun little experience. And the title is Dice Gambit, but the dice part of it is because all of your moves within

the, within an actual, I was about to say match mission, are based on dice. So basically,
