Against the Storm does two things that I find interesting.

One is that it destroys your cities.

And just like a fundamental part of the game is that the amount of time you get to spend with any given city is limited by its nature.

After a certain amount of playtime, you get a score because this is a fantasy world city builder, sort of an alternative type fantasy, not your standard high fantasy.
