The Winter of Wargaming continues.

This time we've gone back in time to olden times, the Middle Ages.

All of us have fond memories of our days at the joust, the St. Crispin's Day speech, serving alongside King Henry, all of them. And so what could be

better than Field of Glory to medieval?

If we went back to the part of being the Middle Ages where we got 75% of our daily calories from beer and wine.

That actually doesn't sound bad.

Although, I'll bet you a lot of that stuff wasn't as good.

You know what I mean?

No, it was probably terrible.

We're pretty fancy now. It's like being dragged to a cheap meat haul. I bet. That's what that would be like. But every day for each meal. See, now it sounds better that I've said that. I could do without it at breakfast. I think I would much rather have the latte if I'm being straight with you.

But Field of Glory 2 medieval is the middle ages take on the Field of Glory system.

We liked Field of Glory 2.

It's usually an ancients system, but obviously like elements of the system have cropped up in really similar games like Pike and Shot, Sengoku Jidai.

Troy, what's Field of Glory to medieval doing? And what does this system take as its core rules and suppositions about how

combat in this era worked?
