So today, we're playing something new that feels a little bit old. We are playing Mobius Front 83, which is a war game

from Zachtronics, about a perhaps parallel world's red dawn type scenario happening in the

central United States in the 1980s, where a group of very stereotypical U.S. troops from any war

movie from that period find themselves bushwhacked by an invading army that appears to be

another American force. It's an interesting premise.

Zachtronics are renowned for making interesting offbeat games.

And is it what you might expect when you hear Zactronics and Wargame?

I don't know what you would expect when you hear Zach Tronix and Wargame.

This is the company that brought us games about like organic chemistry.

That was their big game last year.

It was a game where you do organic chemistry to make drugs and then sell your illegal drugs.

And it was awesome.

And I loved it.

They also made Opus Magnum, that fancy game about

magic alchemy processes from a couple years ago. That was really big. And they made now

Mobius Front 83. And it's fascinating to see a developer that has an incredibly mathematical puzzle-focused
