| 0:00.0 | Good evening, you're listening to Thru Moves Ahead, and I'm your host Rob Zakene, joined once again by 3MA founder, Troy Goodfellow. |
| 0:07.4 | Hello, hello, hello. |
| 0:09.3 | So one of the defining features of this week and really the last few years is a conviction or a hope that there's some kind of hidden truth that will come out and lead to some kind of redemptive justice. |
| 0:20.5 | And a lot of that energy was focused on and fed by news media. |
| 0:25.4 | And I think it's too reductive to say that there's any one reason for the conviction that |

| 1:10.9 | All the President's Men is a lot more boring than I remember it being. |
| 1:15.3 | It is, frankly, a very dull inside baseball movie that requires you to know a lot about what is going on in Watergate. |
| 1:25.7 | It's very much a movie of its time and of its period. |
| 1:28.9 | And I don't think it has aged very well at all. |
| 1:31.8 | Leaving aside its position on the role of the media and journalism and politics and space, |
| 1:38.1 | leaving that aside, which we can get into, which is really the important thing. |
| 1:41.5 | I do not think the movie ages very well, |
| 1:44.4 | especially if you're kind of only a little bit interested in Watergate. |
