I'm a good friend, Mr. Tom Chick. How are you this evening, Tom? I'm good. Troy, can I get you any coffee? No, I have a large goblet of wine here. I think I'm going to be fine to get through the night if the splitting headache doesn't knock me down first. Wait, a goblet? Wow. Well, it's a very big glass, but it's full enough that I can call it a goblet. And also real quick, before we move on to more substantial business, which is really cool today, by the way, I'm really excited about this. There's no longer any such thing as the sci-fi channel. I'm not sure if you got the memo, but these days it's called SIFI. SIFI. Actually, sci-fi. S-Y-F-Y. It's just part of corporate culture as I'm expected to, I guess, know that and correct people.

But it's still pronounced sci-fi.

It's still a channel.

Correct, yeah.

Yes, yeah, whatever.

You care so much about your employers.

You're contractually obligated to correct you.

You're a terrible henchman.

I am, fine.

Yeah, Tom, this is an exciting show when I wanted to do for a while,

and a lot of it was just an issue of getting the planning organized

and decided who I wanted on this show.

Because I think it's an issue that you you know, you and I've certainly talked about

and written about before, and that is the gaming gender gap.

And I've always been particularly interested in the strategy gaming gender gap,

from where I set strategy games have, you know, targeted men and male interests

and have been on enough, you know, war gamer forums full of post- of post pictures of the hot soldier babe threads.

And I'm certainly not kidding about that.

Like how hot these Israeli soldiers are to wonder if there's something about strategy games and war games that is male-focused.

Is this just the internet?
