irregular panelist, Dr. Bruce Garrick.

Hello gamers.

So today we're finally getting around to covering the winner of last month's Patreon topic

poll, Atlantic Fleet by Killer Fish Games, which is a, as the title might suggest,

it is a World War II Atlantic Naval Combat game that is that sort of I described that

Troy as Valkyria Chronicles but with warships in some ways.

Can you tell us a little bit about what this game is and set it up for our listeners?

It has a campaign mode in a Battle of the Atlantic mode and pretty pretty much comes down to the tactical battles, which are turn-based between very small fleets of ships.

Battleships, destroyers, submarines are overpowered and need to be nerved. We can get into that in a bit.

In the Battle of the Atlantic game, it's a little bit of strategic play there where the Germans

have to sink a lot of convoys to before they can get to Europe.

And the trick is, you know, finding where the convoys are, then finding other fleets and hunting

them down.

But it's a very simple turn-based game. And in the battles

themselves, you take your shots and you miss, and then you correct for fire, you know,

correct your fire solution. You try to evade torpedoes. It's, yeah, it's a turn-based naval war game.

It is, I mean, you can purport to Vkeria Chronicles, for me, because it's so much

what it is about guns firing on other guns, it's scorched Earth on the ocean.
