And today, by popular demand, we're going to be talking about Hegemony 3 from Longbow Games,

the third entry in sort of, I guess we can call it now an ancient warfare RTS trilogy,

which started all the way back with

Philip of Macedon covering his invasion of Greece, the preceded out the rise of Alexander.

So Troy, this is our third time out with this series, and I think, you know, it's kind of interesting

because in some ways a lot of things have stayed the same across the series, but it has also

evolved and changed from its original concept.

How do you feel like when you sort of look at this in, you know, a line of these games, how things changed since Philip of Macedon?

Well, first I want to say just how surprised I am that this won the Patreon listeners vote.

Since we have talked about these games before, a couple of times.

I mean, there is certainly, but I think it's kind of appropriate.

So we talked about ancient warfare last week, and you did mention the Higemone series,

that we are kind of, I guess, revisiting it. As far, you know, what's changed,

I think it's more remarkable, you know, how much has stayed the same through this series.

I mean, there are, of course, a few changes.

First, you know, there are many, many more factions in this game.

Higemite 3 is about Rome before it's Rome.

It's about the unification of Italy.

And there's a smaller scenario, which is about the Etruscans, your training scenario,
