I guess, you know, I'd like to start a little bit with your background, where, you know,

turbotap is a new developer where

where you all come from and what led you to this to making a naval war game

well we started to overtape games we have a background in general computer science

teaching and being IT consultants working for businesses making

applications for oil and banking essentially that's what we do in Norway so after a bit of

time we wanted to start around game company we have have been gamers since we were kids, and we had been studying game design and game development,

so we thought it was about time to try to do it ourselves, for real.

Now, that seems like an odd shift for a software company that has been working in business

applications.

Everyone was on board with this.

Were you all a bunch of frustrated gamers wanting to get started on indie war game design?

Well, we had been having a different deployment, obviously Terpotape Games.

The company was made for game development from the start.

But we, when you're a computer programmer, it's not really hard to get a decent and well-paid

job in the industry.

And a lot of people are, you end up being stuck there because if you start as an indie

developer, it's going to be reasonably hard to pay your bills for a while.
