0:11.9	Several years ago, when we first began the Enjoying the Journey broadcast, we started with my favorite book of the Bible.
0:19.0	I've adopted it really is my life's study on the book of
0:22.3	Philippians. And the theme, of course, of that great book is the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
0:28.0	Truly, it is the Bible treaties on what it means to enjoy the journey. Now we're thrilled to share
0:35.5	this anniversary series with you again in the hopes that God will use it in your life to help you learn to enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ at whatever stage you happen to be on on life's journey.

1:01.6	Someone once observed that today is the first day of the rest of your life. Now that's a
1:07.4	profound truth, isn't it? I once heard someone say that yesterday is like a cancelled check.
1:12.6	Tomorrow is like a promissory note and today is legal tender.
1:16.6	It's the only thing that's negotiable.
1:18.6	It's the only thing we have.
1:20.6	With that thought in mind, I turn our attention again today to Philippians chapter 1.
1:25.6	We've been discussing three days we must never forget.
1:28.9	Now the first day is obvious. It's the first day. It's the day you met the Lord Jesus Christ
1:34.7	as your personal Savior. And the second day is the last day you're ever going to live on this
1:41.1	earth and the first day of eternity. It's called in Philippians 1, verse 6, the day of Jesus Christ. But now we turn our attention to the third day. We must never
1:50.1	forget. It's sandwiched between the other two. Between the first day and the day of Jesus Christ,
1:56.0	we have a beautiful little word. Let me read these two verses and see if you catch it. Philippians chapter one,
2:01.7	verse five says, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident
2:07.7	of this very thing that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of
