First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. D' Okay, so if there's something that you feel like you really want, you have a clear vision for it, most of you is aligned with the idea

of like, yeah, I really want to develop that or have that in my life. But as you make progress in the direction toward attaining that thing, you find yourself sabotaging the process.

There's a good chance that the journey toward that thing

or the actual attainment of that thing

involves feeling something that you're unwilling to feel or you don't yet feel comfortable feeling or know how to feel.

And that's why so many of the really important changes we are trying to make in our lives and almost any form of personal development really has to return back to an attuned

and awareness and a compassion toward the body because that's where these things

are going to arise. The fear of something happening

or getting the thing you think you want, right? That's arising in the body, the unfamiliar sensory experience that comes with new territory or new experience,

that's arising in the body. fear, anxiety, resistance, numbness, all of this is happening in the body.

And if we're just glossing over that or listening to these impulses

subconsciously and letting them redirect us in a different place and we're going to

be pushed in a lot of different directions in our life that seem counter to what we think we want without realizing how it's actually happening.

And when it comes to self-sabbatage, it's really important to remember that the

nervous system seeks out what's familiar to it, not what's good for you or not what you think you want.

So to keep it really simple, when you find yourself trying to pursue something new, a different path, but you're caught in this loop and you see yourself following that tendency to sabotage the experience. that
