What does this mean?

Well, this episode is inspired by two different things. One, working with fear within a meditation practice.

And two, working with fear when having to make life decisions and not showing not sure which direction to go.

So let's start with working with fear within a meditation practice.

There are a lot of reasons fear could arise in the practice.

We're opening ourselves up to the full spectrum of our human experience and just because we're sitting quietly

and doing something that many people perceive to be calming doesn't mean

that it's gonna just be rainbows and unicorns.

Often there's a lot beneath the surface that just hasn't been processed.

And we've skillfully been avoiding much of our lives.

I mean, this is what most people are doing on a daily basis just

using work and distraction and the agenda of the self to not have to feel certain

things that are lingering in the background, certain truths that are there,

certain unprocessed emotions. And so in meditation we really open the door to a lot of that arising and it can be uncomfortable,
