What did you guys think about Jaron Reed?

I mean, here he is in the season.

We talked about this a little bit on Twitter today.

Nathan, you and Ben and I were kind of going back and forth at lunch.

You know, Jaron Reed, at least before this last slate of games, because he was on by, he was second in the NFL among the defensive interior alignment in sacks.

He has four sacks now. Gino Atkins was leading the NFL among defensive interior alignment and sacks. He has four sacks now.

Gino Atkins was leading the NFL, but now Aaron Donald went off and some other guys went off.

So he's farther down the list.

But if you look at sacks and quarterback hits and percentage of pass rush snaps,

Jaron Reed is 17th in the NFL, um, in defensive interior, uh, linemen and, and, and, and pass rush efficiency.

So what's your take, guys?

I mean, is this someone that, you know, he's not getting a lot of pass rush snaps.

Do you think that he's a guy that the Seahawks should be looking at playing more often in past rush situations?

Do you think he's earned it?

Absolutely.

Absolutely.

He reminds me of Brandon Meaband a little bit in that he's not super flashy, but, you know,

he kind of does the grunt work on the defense.

And, you know, thankfully, I believe he's only in his third year of his rookie deal he was

selected yeah three years ago so the C-Honts don't have to make an extension decision on him

for another year and really this year seems to be his breakout year so before you start talking

extension or anything like that,
