Today we're talking about some new comments on Tesla from Bob Lutz,

as well as some more thoughts on the shareholder meeting

a couple days ago.

Tesla stock on the day today did outperform the markets up 0.47% to

$214.92 this compared to the NASDAQ down 0.52%.

One quick piece of news before we get into the rest of it, Electric today did post an update in regards to Tesla's

delivery ambitions for the month of June.

This was essentially reiterating the targets

that Electric shared that Tesla has for the last month

of the quarter last week or week and a half

a go or so, which shared that Tesla is targeting 33 to 36,000 vehicle deliveries in North America

in June.

From Electraq today, quote, according to sources familiar with the matter,

Tesla has been delivering cars at a rate of approximately 1,000 a day in North America

so far this month, end quote. So that would probably have them tracking pretty

closely to their goal, assuming that rate increases slightly as we head to the close of the month.

In other news today, Bob Lutz was out with some new commentary on Tesla,

or more precisely actually out with an article on Tesla via Road and Track.
