This is the movement of the Holy Family, leading people to Jesus through friendship, good conversation and the rosary. So welcome to our rosary meditation.

I'm blessed to be with my Rosary team this evening.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son

and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for,

especially for Oliviaaimian,

Yeah, and Greg Woods repose.

And for the repose of the soul of Greg Woods.

And let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for.

Now today is the feast of Thomas the Apostle.

Jesus died, rose from the dead,

and ascended into heaven around 33 AD. Then about 10 years later in the year

42 King Herod unleashed a violent persecution of the Catholic Church. He put to death the Apostle James and all of the

apostles were scattered. Propelled out on mission by this persecution, Thomas traveled from Jerusalem to Damascus in Syria and then

eastward, preaching the gospel and establishing the Catholic Church in towns

along the way through Persia or modern day Iraq and Iran

until he finally arrived in Punjab Pakistan 20 miles northwest of Islamabad.

Having planned Catholicism there,

the Holy Spirit recalled Thomas to Jerusalem

to be present at two important events,

the assumption of Mary,

and the first council of the church found in Acts
