Summary

This week on RunPod, Jenni is joined by someone who has always loved running, and all fitness for that matter -he is former Scotland international and Glasgow Warriors rugby player, Thom Evans. In recent years we’ve seen Thom spin on the Strictly floor, sing on the X-Factor stage and appear on many a fitness magazine front cover, however did you know he also ran competitively? In this episode, Jenni asks Thom about his love for fitness and how hw was impacted when in 2010 he suffered a serious neck injury during the Wales-Scotland Six Nations game. The incident very almost left him paralysed but luckily he did recover and shares how one of the most important things for him at that time was to get back out running. There are constant reminders throughout this episode why running is so beneficial for us all, mentally and physically. So if you’re struggling to find the motivation, pop this on, lace up your trainers and prepare yourself, for by the end you will absolutely be inspired to run.
