0:14.5	devote ourselves to the Lord, daily with you. Good morning, you guys. Good morning, indeed. We're
0:18.7	picking up with day two of our experiencing God's peace devotional in the Bible app. There's a link

0:27.0	I'm going to read the scripture, then Tori's going to pick up the Divo. Let's do it.
0:29.8	The scripture is Romans chapter 4 verses 22 through 25. And they say this,
0:35.7	and because of Abraham's faith, God counted him as righteous. And when God counted him as righteous,
0:41.7	it wasn't just for Abraham's benefit. It was recorded for our benefit too, assuring us that God
0:47.6	will also count us as righteous if we believe in him the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
0:53.8	He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.
1:00.0	The devotional is titled Peace with God, and it says this,
1:04.2	This peace that God gives may be beyond our comprehension, but it's not beyond our grasp.
1:10.4	It's readily available to us. If we want to have peace with God, there is no three easy steps
1:16.7	to peace with God. There is only one way. It's Jesus. When Jesus died on the cross, God put all
1:24.8	of the sins of the world on Jesus, past, present, and future. When we accept this gift from God,
1:33.1	and put our faith in him, we get the righteousness of Christ. The righteousness according to
1:40.1	Romans 4 23 through 24 is, quote, credited to us who believe in him who raised Jesus from the dead.
1:50.4	We all want God's peace, but until we come to a saving relationship with Jesus,
1:56.8	receive his gift and are saved. We'll never have it. It's best stated like this. If we want the
2:03.4	peace of God, we must first have peace with God. When we sin and we will, this does not cancel
2:12.0	out peace with God. We're not justified over and over. Praise God that our human condition doesn't
2:18.9	render our saved spiritual condition as null and void. So what does peace with God do for us
