about the early questions that existed around the marriage of Henry the 8th and Catherine

of Erica. Because believe it or not, there actually were some questions specifically around the

idea that Catherine was his brother's widow. And that was

something that was brought up even before they were married. So, you know, I used to think when I

first started reading about this period, I used to think that it was just something that Henry

stumbled on later. Like, you know, he was frustrated with Catherine and he's like, oh, Leviticus says this.

But actually, people were talking about it before that as well.

So, Vermeerius book, Hunting the Falcon, Henry VIII, Amblin, and the marriage that took

Europe by John Guy and Julia Fox.

And there's a sentence in here about Archbishop Waram having some concerns about the

marriage even before it happened. So I wanted to kind of dig into that a little bit and talk about

that. So when Henry ascended to the throne in 1509, he was just 17 years old. One of his
