I'm, of course, Tommy Ashley.

It is Tuesday.

That means it's a midweek game against Coastal.

By the time you watch or listen to this, they may have already played it unless you're one of the ones that does it immediately.

Coach Forbes, Coastal comes to town on a Tuesday.

Then you've got Queens scheduled on a Wednesday,

and then you don't play again until Duke on a Sunday, a sort of a special game.

This week always happens in your season every year with exams and how it works.

And it feels to me like it sort of throws a monkey wrench into the smoothness of the season,

the planned out portion of the season.

How does it feel to you and how do you deal with it as a head coach?

You're right.

It's been like that ever since I've been here, back here.

I don't know what it was like when I was a volunteer assistant.

I'm probably the same. I hated it as pitching coach. Absolutely hated it. I hated it just as a

coach in general. Like baseball, you need to play. And I looked around in the league and everybody

else is playing a weekend series and we can't play for nine days. They've worked with us more.

We're able to play more.

We're able to at least get that due game in, so we play a game.

But I'm hoping we get to where pretty much 95% of the league is, and that is, you know,
