Emergency, if you will, Coast to Coast podcast, because we got something to report to you.

It's emergency, so I had to get the alarms.

Sayon Kata is coming to UNC, joining the Tar Heels next year.

That's a big get for Coach Michael Malone and the staff.

I'll give you a little bit of what we know about Sayon Kata.

And Sherell reported this on Saturday evening that North Carolina was in talks with him. But just to give you

guys a little bit about what Cian Ceda is and a little bit about him, he's a traditional five.

He plays for FC Barcelona in Spain. He's a legit seven foot. He's been in that Barcelona ecosystem

for a long time playing in the Euro

league. And he averaged a decent amount of points and rebounds in 19 minutes. Absolutely

athletic monster. Just amazing hops. This is some of Sean's write up on him. Great, great, like, premier shot blocker.

And it is the type of kid that's probably going to only get better with his timing.

He did visit North Carolina in August of last season,

as well as some other, some other blue blood programs in the U.S. while he was here.

Sherell, as usual, tell us how we got here with Sayon Keta committing to Michael Malone.

Yeah, it started with that visit to the previous staff last year.

He came in and I think he did like seven visits and six days among a lot of the Blue Blood programs.

And then it was kind of quiet on his recruitment

for for us for about six and a half months. We just didn't hear his name. I think there was a

couple of times on the coast to coast where there's people asking about him and we're like,
