0:38.9	Elizabeth Valois was born into royalty on the 2nd of April in 1545
0:43.8	as the eldest daughter of King Henry II of France and Catherine Domenici.
0:49.9	She was close to marry Queen of Scots,
0:52.4	so close that they even shared a bedroom growing up.
0:55.7	Talk about a royal sleepover.
0:58.5	But things got even more interesting when Elizabeth married Philip II of Spain at the age of 14.
1:06.2	Let's just say there was a big age gap, with Philip being 32 at the time of their marriage.
1:12.8	This was Philip's third time at the altar, having lost his previous wife, Mary the First
1:17.7	of England, to illness. Elizabeth went on to give birth to five daughters, but sadly, only
1:24.5	two survived infancy.
1:33.0	Tragically, Elizabeth died at the age of 23 due to complications from childbirth.
1:35.7	Her infant daughter also passed away.
1:42.4	Despite her short time on earth, Elizabeth left quite the legacy as a French princess turned Spanish queen.

1:50.7	Arthur Tudor, born on the night of September 19th, or 20th, in 1486, was the first child
1:57.9	of King Henry the 7th of England and Elizabeth of York.
