cutting out life's negativity and the journey of building businesses.

Winning, first of all, is very individual. Like the most interesting thing for me is actually

understanding what everybody in this room thinks winning is for themselves,

so that we can reverse engineer it. That's why I spend all my time on.

I don't give a shit if you want to buy the jets or if you want to make $137,000 a year,

have ridiculously good work life balance, still keep a job when you start your failure. I don't...

It's unbelievable how much I care and how much I don't care about what winning means to you,

meaning I massively care and then you get to define it. The biggest thing is building an

organization that is flexible to reacting to it, changing for you all the time. Because at first,

it's money or it's this or creatively that. And then as you guys evolve, the only way to keep people

in a company for 5, 10, 15, 20 years is to create the flexibility, kind of like a house that can

deal with an earthquake, right? We have to build a foundation that can respond to all the life,

the three to four core life changes that you'll go through. I love people who just want to stay in their

lane, maybe get one more, two more promotions, have insane work life balance, work nine to five,

check out it here every day at five, do their work that's valuable. There's always an exchange.

I'm not going to tell you how to live your life. I just want to provide a good trade for you for

that life. You're 24 and you want to be a CEO of Intermedia. You're 31 and love one kid and you

love like taking her to soccer practice and you're just not willing to work 18 hours a day to be the

CEO of Intermedia. It's all good for me. We need them all. I don't want to be in charge of your

ambition. I just want to give you more than you give me so that you stay here forever.
